The lady who took my appointment was very nice and helpful, they called before coming over, and the technician was friendly and knew what he was talking about.
Called Drucks to come check out if there was a drainage issue between my sink and dishwasher because my dishwasher smelled really badly and wasn't draining after it's wash cycle.
I have trusted Drucks for more than 10 years. I am more than satisfied with my lastest experience choosing and installing a new furnace, as well as all the inspections leading up to this decisions.
They were able to quickly schedule a service call,arrived on time and were in and out within an hour. They did quality work and I am confident in what the did. (Replaced sump pump)
Very nice and knowledgeable people, I just couldn't help but feel a little screwed.
My issue with them comes from a lack of cost explanation. Prior to the appointment, it was explained to me that for every appointment that there's a base $59 charge to come out to the house. I agreed, thinking that included a "diagnosis" of a problem, and any work done to fix the problem would come at an extra cost.
Very friendly, ok's with me first for a visual inspection, when finding problems, explains them and how they need to be done. Gives me a extimate on repairs, tells me how long it will take and what they will do. Great service.
Unfortunately, there was a $75 charge for all of that and I ended up paying close to $150 for what feels like absolutely nothing.
However, after coming over, running some water through my sinks, peeking beneath my sink, and walking to the basement to look at a pipe, I asked "What about my dishwasher?" and he said "That's an appliance issue, we don't deal with that." Totally fine, he was here for no more than 10 minutes and there was no issue at hand.
